* Scientists count electric charges in a single catalyst nanoparticle down to
the electron
Kyushu U researchers and collaborators have now counted the electric charges in a single platinum nanoparticle only one-tenth the size of common viruses down to the electron, providing key information needed for creating catalysts that will help solve environmental issues.
