*Signing ceremony of academic and student exchange agreements
with Chulalongkorn University (Thailand)

New opportunities for exchange with Thailand are on the horizon as
Kyushu University's School of Interdisciplinary Science and

Integrated Innovation signed an agreement leveraging
their similarities in educational philosophy and the types of

On Friday, December 3, 2021, Kyushu University (Kyushu U) and
National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) jointly hosted an online academic
forum on SDG #7 (affordable and clean energy) and their joint research
projects as the two universities look to collaborate further in the future.

*"Future-Creation (MIRAI)" course: Recruitment for current Ph.D. students
for FY2022 —Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation
(SPRING)

Kyushu University has been selected as an executing agency for
"Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation"
by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

Since 2021, we have created an environment where excellent doctoral
students can independently devote themselves to creative and integrated research.
In addition to research ability, we will help them develop an interdisciplinary,
international, bird's-eye view and transferable skills.

We will start accepting applications for the 2022 academic year.
